Foo Fighters (Live At Wembley 2008)

I've seen bits and pieces of this concert on Palladia for the last couple of years. But I always got distracted with something else to do around the house, or work or whatever. It's not till now that I finally got to see the whole 2 hour show. It's mind blowing that you can get such high quality stuff posted online. This concert was tailored made for High Definition. The video looks amazing and the audio is great too. This is what you call a professional gig with all the trimmings. Tons of cameras all around the arena gives us many choice shots for editing.

The best moment in the show obviously is the encore when they bring out Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin fame. Dave Grohl sits in on the drums and Taylor Hawkins takes over on vocals for Rock And Roll. Dave takes over on vocals for Rambling On with Taylor back on skins. But the best song of the night would have to be Best Of You. Great Set List, but there are a few other songs I would have liked to see here. I wasn't fond of how they redid my all time favorite Foo Fighters song My Hero when they turned it into a "power ballad". Bah!
