You realize that GNR has now set a precedent that any show that follows from here on out is going to be viewed as a disappointment if there is no Adler to be found anywhere on stage. If I had paid money for the San Diego show and saw this, I would be bummed if Adler didn't make an appearance for at least a few songs.

I agree...they might as well give him these two songs for all the shows at the very least...although it sets a weird precedent for them....like we need him here.

hard to say on the business end of things where this all falls...gotta be some very interesting things going on behind the scenes.  I could see the bands management which is probably a different person for each member being quite a web of
stuff.

I'm 100% on board with Adler getting to do the Appetite For Destruction songs and having Frank Ferrer filling in for the rest of the show. What I would like to see is that they slowly work Adler into his part of the set. Give him 2 songs to start with and as the band feels more and more confidence in him, give him additional songs with each successive show. Keeps expectations and pressure at a minimum and gives him more time to adjust. Once he is back in full force, announce that he is officially back in the band. With that said, get Izzy on the phone right f*cking now!!!! I Joke about this a month ago with you, but can you imagine if Izzy walked out on stage  at the San Diego show with the other original members? I'd lose my f*cking mind!

So, Adler has now notched 2 straight gigs, albeit just 2 songs per show. But that's still a huge accomplishment for him and for this band. I'm expecting a full-on reunion with Izzy in tow by the time GNR reaches San Diego. Don't disappoint me Axl!

so happy for Slash in particular that the band got back together even though it's not totally complete...he's probably one of the biggest guitar legends (at least for mainstream) since EVH.

he deserved better than Slashes snake pit, and Velvet Revolver...both are good...but this is what he created...so it's cool to see him and Axl tearing it up.

Very curious if Axl will be back with AC DC this year.

Oh please no!!! With Brian back singing and doing his own gigs, I see no reason why he can't come back. If he doesn't, then AC/DC just needs to bow out with Angus being the only original member left.

I'd agree but my concern is maybe he's mad at them...it's got to be a weird thing to see a 30-40 year relationship
boil down to business.

that said...there's a TON of cash sitting on the table for them with him back...because now it's news worthy!

Wow, Axl actually played a Velvet Revolver song on stage. I heard the other day that they had done a  soundcheck before the show....but I still didn't think it would happen. Sounds great. They need to include this a maybe a couple of other VR songs into the set list moving forward.

I'm still trying to figure out who this axl rose is!!  He shows up on time, he seems easy to work with, is singing great and in 2 awesome bands!@

 Now I'm just waiting for the new ACDC album!!
