I dunno about the pricing. I've definitely positioned myself with no more $15 for any DVD or Blu-Ray of late.

You can always get it new on eBay. There is always a seller or two that undersells their new product just to stick it to companies like Amazon and Best Buy. I don't buy from either one anymore. Haven't for a long time. It has pretty much been eBay for me the last couple of years.

browsing Amazon today and got the BR for $15.... ya

Also bought a pair Sennheiser earbuds. I can use them for the plane flights, but more for the Ipad when in laying around not disturbing the wife.

Someday I might be able to get the Bose Noise cancelling cans. I've demo'd them and they are phenomenal. I've seen folks on planes wearing them. Sure wish I had them when them babies start crying.  :-\

P!nk: VH1 Storytellers

So, this morning, I turned on Palladia at 5 am and the first thing that came on was P!nk: VH1 Storytellers and it was awesome. I originally had other things that I wanted to watch, but just like every other time, I get sucked into the world that is P!nk. She's got a hold on me like no other.  I wish someone would post the entire show on YouTube. No dice. Anway, this is a fantastic, hour-long intimate concert where she tells stories behind some of her biggest hit songs. We all know she is a great songwriter, but she's just as engaging talking to the fans as well. Definitely check this out when you get the chance. This particular show is a couple of years old already, but still fresh in my eyes....and ears. The above clip is P!nk ft. Nate Ruess - Just Give Me a Reason (Live).

WTF is wrong with people

Pink slams critics of her weight

Quote
Pink is standing up against critics of her weight.

The 35-year-old pop star was photographed Saturday night at the John Wayne 30th annual Odyssey Ball in Beverly Hills, California, and apparently heard some negatives comments about the way she looked.

She posted a message on Twitter, admitting that her dress "didn't photograph as well as it did in my kitchen."

"I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight," she tweeted on Sunday. "You're referring to the pictures of me from last night's (Saturday) cancer benefit that I attended to support my dead friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you."

She went on to note, "In fact, I feel beautiful," before telling fans not to worry about her.

Pink also tweeted that her husband, Carey Hart, and their daughter, Willow, are just fine with the way she looks:

That's my girl...

Quote
The E! reality star shared a **** selfie with fans on Instagram and Twitter Sunday, which elicited jokes from Bette Midler and Piers Morgan and criticism from Chloe Grace Moretz. Kim fired back at the trio, and soon after, several stars came out in her defense, including Rowan Blanchard, Ariel Winter and Bella Thorne. The 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star published a letter Tuesday explaining why she's tired of strangers condemning her actions.

In a post titled "Happy International Women's Day," Kim wrote, "I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives. I don't do drugs, I hardly drink, I've never committed a crime—and yet I'm a bad role model for being proud of my body?" After explaining that she's moved on from past scandals, she added, "I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me. And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world."

NEWS: WHy Kim Kardashian is being treated unfairly

Shortly after, Pink, seemingly took a potshot at Kim. "Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their 'magic' that they were born with, that only they possess. It may not ever bring you as much 'attention' or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your **** and asses, but women like you don't need that kind of 'attention,'" the singer wrote. "In the quiet moments, you will feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you will feel something called pride and self respect. Keep on resisting the urge to cave. You'll never have to make silly excuses for yourself."

Kim has not responded to Pink's tweet.

Amber, who made amends with Kim earlier this year after Kanye West dissed the model, took to Instagram Wednesday to side with the Selfish author. "Pink we were all born naked society sexualizes our breast and bodies. If a grown mother of 2 is comfortable with her body and wants to show it off that's none of ur business or anyone else's. Now, if u wanna talk to kids and be a mentor to young teens, tell them to go to school and to not use their bodies to get ahead?! I'm all for it!" she wrote. "But please as a grown woman let another grown woman live as she wishes. That's our problem! We're so quick to down each other instead of uplifting!"

Man, I am getting tired of people saying Epic. Everything is NOT EPIC!!!

rant over

Pink's Billboard Music Awards Performance Is So Epic She's Been Rehearsing It In A Top Secret Location!

Pink? More like red hot!!!

The Billboard Music Awards are set to air LIVE this Sunday, which means we're only two days away from getting to see Britney Spears and Celine Dion rock the Las Vegas stage!

And while Brit-Brit and Celinita are going to be the night's most celebrated musical acts, it sounds like we should really be excited for Pink.

That's because executive producer Mark Bracco just shared some insider information that the singer's performance of Just Like Fire from Alice Through the Looking Glass is going to be epic!

In fact, Mark even toll Billboard Magazine on Thursday that the routine is so impressive that Pink is actually rehearsing in secret completely isolated from all the other pop stars, saying:

Quote
"You don't want to miss Pink. She has done incredible award performances — she has flown through the air, there have been acrobatics and fire — but it's all going to come together in this performance!"

We literally don't know how we'll be able to survive these next two days now!

Make sure to catch Pink and all the rest of the acts when Ciara and Ludacris host the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, May 22 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC!

I've been seeing TV Spots for this the past month and the only thing I'm tuning in is of course P!nk. I wasn't planning on staying any longer than that, but the last few TV Spots have also been hyping up a Prince Tribute by Madonna. So, naturally I will check that out as well. Maybe the show will serve up a lot of good, quality performances. Since I don't know when either will be performing, looks like I will watch from the beginning.
