So, I've been listening to
Tears for Fears all day today while working and I took a break to just search random
Tears for Fears clips on
YouTube and stumbled across this Live Set. I didn't even know that
Spotify had a channel and that they hosted these mini concerts and I certainly never heard about
Fears doing this. It may be produced by
Spotify, but the influence of
VH1 Storytellers is very apparent. It's really cool to be able to hear both
Curt and
Roland talking about their music and songs. But the best thing about this cozy, intimate private concert for 50 lucky fans is that the band sounds f*cking phenomenal live. I've never heard a band sound so f*cking good live. Being able to recreate songs that shouldn't be able to translate live shows just how strong they are as musicians. The video itself was shot wonderfully and I like how it was all edited together. I want this on CD, DVD, Vinyl and 8 Track. I'm saving this one for sure.
