Ip Man... one of the best martial arts films to come out in years. Here's a little scene.

and Ip Man 2... not quite as great as the original, but still some amazing fighting.

While it's difficult to find a full length fight scene for The Warrior's Way, it's more sword play and the whole movie is a fight... except for the love story intermingled.

Three O'Clock High (Fight Scene)

I have loved this movie since the the day it came out. Classic 80's High School movie. The entire movie is leading up to the big fight after school at the end, and it does not disappoint. Awesome.

My Bodyguard (Fight Scene)

And now, I give you the original and best after-school-fight of all time. This was a riot then and it still is today. Man, they just don't make awesome stuff like this anymore.

Dude...you keep posting shootouts as fight scenes. A fight is a fight with full on physical contact. Gun = shootouts. Not the same.

Greatest shootout out in movie history. Beats Peckinpah's The Getaway, Wild Bunch or anything else since then.

So your definition of a shootout isn't a fight? I guess I can always say anything related to guns is nothing more than a tea party.  :P

Hard Boiled (Tea House Shoot-out)

Hard Boiled (Hospital Shoot-out)

How can you post anything from The Killer and nothing from Hard Boiled? Come on dude, you're slipping!! FYI, both The Killer and Hard Boiled are definitely John Woo's and Chow Yun Fat's best. But then again, I think A Better Tomorrow II ranks right up there as well.

I love how you think you are educating me on John Woo  !!!!!!!! I saw The Killer in a Chinese movies house on Canal st when it was first released. Stop acting like you know something. I OWN A Bullet in The Head, The Killer, Hard Boiled, Last Hurrah For Chivalry,  A Better Tomorrow 1 and 2 ( 3 was directed by Tsui Hark) Once A thief, Broken Arrow, Face Off ( should be used as a symposium on how to make an action film), Hard Target, Mission Impossible 2 ( weak movie) Red Cliff 1 and 2 uncut...whew........I'm tired of typing.

I refuse to acknowledge Paycheck. No one is perfect  :D
