World's Apart

Really good episode and the ending was surprisingly sad. I knew one day they would close the gateway between both parallel universes. I just didn't think I'd be sad to see the other half disappear. It was written on the wall that Lincoln would join them as well since he has a thing for Olivia 2.0. So, not sure if they are in fact completely being written off or if they will still have separate story lines on each side since there will be no more crossing over from one side to the other. That is until the future Fringe Timeline based on last weeks episode.

Brave New World (Part 1)

Oh no they DIDN'T!! They better not have just killed off Astrid! I will be so  p i s s e d  if that is in fact what they just did. It's a great cliffhanger for the episode and my guess is that William Bell (Leonard Nimoy) will blackmail Walter to do whatever it is he wants him to do in exchange for saving her life. By the way, so damn cool to see Bell return. His appearance automatically gives this one a 5 star rating. On top of that, the episode was great. It was awesome to see Rebecca Mader in this one as well. Most people will know her from LOST, another JJ Abrams production. Not sure if she will have a larger role in the series. My guess is that she is working for Bell in some capacity.

This episode is also significant for the continuing manifestation of Olivia's telekinetic powers as she was able to channel Peter's body into killing David Robert Jones, who went out in a blaze of glory rather quickly. A little too easy if you ask me.

Brave New World (Part 2)

Epic is the only word I can think of right now to describe the Season Finale. This had everything. It was so good, at times I thought I was watching Fringe: The Movie instead of a TV series. A lot of twist that I couldn't see coming. We all knew that Olivia had to die as it was foretold by The Observer. And yet, I still forgot all about it and then out of nowhere...BAM! Shot in the head.........by  f u c k i n g  Walter!! I was expecting him to shoot William Bell, even though killing him wouldn't change the outcome. I do believe we will see him next season for sure.

As for the ending, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Yes, Olivia was saved and back to being "normal", so she had that happy moment. But whenever there is a happy moment, bad news is certain to follow and when she was being all evasive with Peter at the end, I was sure she would tell him that "it's too dangerous to be around her and that she can't risk putting Peter's life in harms way...." or something to that effect. So when she finally blurted out that she and Peter were going to have a baby, it took me totally by surprise.

Great  f u c k i n g  episode! I'm just glad that FOX did something right for a change and decided to save the show for one more year.
