Because you wanted it. Because you asked for it. I give you the 90210 thread!!

Some interesting news in that both Lori Loughlin and Ryan Eggold's contracts will not be picked up for Season 4, as the series will focus on the transition to college, so there will be less emphasis on teachers and parents. They seem to be following the original series blue print for this by jettisoning "adult" figures on the show, only this series isn't living up to what the other series did as far as being insanely addictive, while not sucking. Me thinks Dixon is the reason why. Just a thought.

Also, Trevor Donovan (Teddy) will not return to the series as a regular cast member. Boy, the show-runners are shooting themselves in the foot by getting rid of story lines that are at least entertaining, if not original.

AnnaLynne McCord
They should use this as a billboard to promote the show. I'm sure it would definitely give the ratings a boost. That or kill off Dixon.  ;D

Interesting.  The parents figures were kind of pointless anyway.  I can already call up the storyline for this college season.  One of the crew will get involved with a professor, and it will get complicated.  One choice could be Annie who will have been apart from Liam for a while, and might be lonely...and there will be lingering daddy issues too.  I am guessing we will get some new cast members as well.

I thought the first episode was okay.  I figured the baby scare would be nothing, because I didn't see nerd boy as a long term character.  I never understood why it was such a big deal for her, considering Naomi is so self-centered that I could picture her just getting an abortion to be rid of the hassle.  And of course, they found a reason for everyone to be in the same area again.  Annie has her inheritance challenged (go figure, that one was called ages ago), Liam is back in town, Dixon is doing a music career, Navid is doing his movie thing, Silver is hanging around because her psycho episode kept her from school, Adrianna is seeking redemption somehow.

Annoying character added to rival Dixon is Navid's sister.  I hope she is short term, because she has already pissed me off.  The Cowboy dude looks like he will be a good trouble maker, much better than Liam, who looked like he was building a bomb, but was just doing a boat.  They are already prepping us for Ivy to lose her cancer stricken husband.  Teddy is off on a plane somewhere to be off the show I suppose.  Not much to go on so far.

It looks like the CW is sticking with its trend of not hosting the previous episode until a week after. It just went up today. So...Fall Season is in full swing for me starting today. Now. Wheeeeee!!

I will have my review up later tonight. I didn't read yours Ganthc. I'll check back afterwards to see what you have to say.

Up In Smoke

Leila is a annoying little brat. She will fit in nicely on the show. I don't see her a short term character. She will be there for at least the entire season to create havoc with Navid and Silver. All that's missing here is Ralph Furley;D I knew that Naomi would be found not to be pregnant. You can't risk alienating what few fans the show has by taking away her biggest asset....a hot bod and skimpy clothes. And who the hell throws a bushel of weed on a fire with the Cops right there? Man, I sure did miss her antics over the summer.

So now Liam owns the Salty Place? That's what I'm reading into it when that busboy said "Morning Boss" at the end and Liam $25K missing. And there was waaaaay too much Dixon in this episode. More so than all of last year combined.

Overall is was a good opening to the new season if a bit predictable.

Rush Hour

It's Pledge Week. Naomi ftw!!  ;D

Leila annoys me ever more here in Episode 2. I can't stand her. Also, is it really necessary to do the drug angle again? We've already done this with Adrianna and Ivy. Now the writers feel that makind Dixon an addict is going to solve the problem of him being boring and useless on the show? And as for Annie, it was so obvious from the get go that Jeremy wasn't who he was claiming to be and as soon as I heard Annie talking about the Will I knew who he was.

Yeah, I think that it was fairly obvious as well that Annie was being duped by the family, but I actually thought it was going to go a different way.  I thought that he would see that she was sincere with her friendship with the suicide lady that they would let her have the money.  But I guess that would be too easy.  Having her become an escort sounds much better.  Let's get Annie out of those frumpy clothes, please!

I still don't see why anyone is Naomi's friend, but no doubt she has a smoking body.  Ivy has become a giant wet blanket, and I am tired of seeing her on screen.  Dixon is not more interesting as a drug addict, and in fact, he will likely be whiny at some point about it too.  At least Silver has some better hair this season (just long enough to make it better), and her character has been more interesting.  Probably not for dugpa who wants her crazy, but I think she is all right.  Still wondering why they have to squeeze her, Navid, and the annoying sister in that tiny shack, when Kelly has a big house in the same yard.  Just put her over there with Kelly.  She can even help babysit.

Navid just needs to realize that the Sharazi name is known for being sleazy law breakers.  He needs to stop whining and become the next crime lord of Beverly Hills.  Liam seems to have sorted things out and will become a baby daddy, even though it's not his.  No annoying sister in episode 3, phew, and no Austin.  Annie appears to be the dumped on person yet again.  But hey, she killed someone, so she gets what she deserves.

Yes, please.  ;D

Also, Navid as a crime lord made me And then I thought about it some more and I'm not entirely against that. First order of business would of course be to eliminate his competition: Dixon;D
