Rabid Dog Once I realized that
Jesse was missing, I don't know why I didn't even begin to suspect that he would be with
Hank, spilling his guts about everything that he and
Walt had done over the last year. Everything from
Brock to
Gus. The episode is basically divided in half. The first half is
Walt discovering that
Jesse had retaliated by invading his home and the subsequent story he tells
Skyler about the gas pump, carpet, etc...He really sucks at telling lies. He is so transparent. Couldn't even fool
Skyler.
The second half of the episode is all about
Jesse and how he came to be in the company of
Hank, who by the way is really just like
Walt in a lot of ways. He will do anything, even risking
Jesse's life to get what he wants. Not sure how the next episode...or even the rest of the season is going to play out. The line has been drawn and it looks like
Walt will officially put a hit out on Jesse, which is exactly what
Jesse wants. I think his plan involves having
Walt implicated with a 'murder for hire' sting operation.
I really liked the scene where
Walt Jr. hugs his dad because he is scared of losing him. Remember, his son is why he started doing all this meth stuff in the first place, to provide for him and the family. And in that very moment, you see this in the look in his eyes. This one thing, in all of this is still pure because
Jr. hasn't been tainted with the knowledge of what his father has done "in the name of love". Another stellar episode.
