I think the CW realizes that with Supernatural probably only having one more year left (max two), they need series to keep the network going.  Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Gossip Girl, Nikita, and for at least a bit longer 90210 are staples.  Hart of Dixie was picked up again, but The Secret Circle was dumped, which surprised me.

On the surface, it seems like nothing happened in this episode. But that's kinda misleading. First off, Alex and Sean finally admit to their feelings for each other. It was kinda weird to see this side of Alex, who hasn't really exhibited any kind of softer side to herself since the early half of Season 1. Since then she has had to be in serious mode for all of her ops. The other thing about this episode was finally the inclusion of Ryan Fletcher as part of the actual team. He has been with the gang in 'spirit' more than anything else. Here he got his hands dirty so-to-speak. Also, we can add another member to the gang with the addition of Morgan Kendrick (Brian Howe) who's got some serious pull with the CIA, a nice perk to have if you're looking to take down Percy.

So, it looks like we now have a running joke on Nikita. Chalk up another blown Safe House. I wonder just how many they are going to burn through before it's all said and done.

As for Brian Howe, it's pretty cool to see him any anything. I haven't seen much of him since Journeyman went off the air.

Well, I finally got that 'breaking into Division' angle that I had been adamant about the first half of the season. Sure, it was different from my original idea that it would be to break Percy out. I like how they suddenly have the President in the corner...not that he has a choice. Suddenly this felt like 24. I'm glad this wasn't the Season Finale because the ending was pretty weak. It didn't even end in a good way for a 'normal', non-season finale way at all.

And where the hell is Amanda? My guess is that they are saving her for something special in the Season Finale. I can only hope.

Now that was a game changer of an episode!!. I was still expecting Percy to find another way out of his predicament as he always seems to do at the 11th hour. But not this time. I kinda felt cheated in how they presented his death though. This has been building for 2 years now and when it came to the moment of truth, we really don't get to see the 'impact' if you will. Sure, that little scene with the glass breaking and then falling back into his Cell was a nice, ironic twist. But to deprive the viewer of seeing him free falling all the way down and crashing into the top of the cell would have been so much better. Just my 2 Cents.

So, not only do they kill off Percy, they got rid of one of the most underused and bad ass characters in the series. I'm speaking of course about Roan. Sucks to see him bite it. They had so much material to use with the guy and did so little with him. So with these two out of the way I was expecting Division to be completely liquidated and that another oganization would take its place. So it was somewhat of a surprise that the Vice President sanctioned to keep it going with Ryan Fletcher now the man in charge....with Nikita.

With Amanda appearing at the end and Division up and running, we have ourselves a nice setup for Season 3. Can't wait. Loved the scene with Birkhoff at the end with Sonya (Lyndie Greenwood).
