A Better Human Being

What the f u c k is going on?! I thought I had this one figured out, but the ending threw me for a loop. I was certain that Nina was Nina 1.0. But now it appears that her, along with Olivia 1.0 are being held against their will in a basement or wherever. So now the question is who is Olivia 2.0 is since I don't think it's a shape-shifter because of the memories that are starting to flood her head. The episode itself was above average for me, but the ending did ratchet it up a notch.

The End Of All Things

Really cool to see Olivia harness her powers and zap that motherf u c k e r  for putting her in her precarious situation. I also liked the little turnaround that she did that expose Nina as a traitor. Or whatever Nina that happens to be. The ending was sad though. Olivia who has been fighting within herself not to trust Peter ends up falling in love with him and then lays it out there for him to know her feelings, only to be rejected as he his waiting to find his other Olivia. I can only imagine what someone that doesn't watch Fringe, stumbles across this thread and reads it and trys to make any sense of it. Good luck strange lurker that's reading this right now.

A Short Story About Love

Great episode. I knew all along that Peter was at home, where he belonged. Kind of cool to finally see Olivia and Peter get together at the end. But this is Fringe, nothing stays good for long and their relationship is no exception. I just wonder what new scientific marvel will get in their way of true happiness. So, does this mean that The Observer is a rogue agent who will continue to act on his own and will be hunted down by the other Observers?

Nothing As It Seems

This is definitely not one of my favorite episodes. It was just....weird. With Olivia's memory fading, this one focused on a case that goes all the way back to the beginning of Fringe in Season 1. Everything that happened then, doesn't this time around. Porcupine Man Lives! Yes, it's as weird as it sounds.

Everything In Its Right Place

The writing was on the wall when Agent Lee volunteered to go to the other side that Captain Lee would meet his end. Sucks to see him go. I liked the character. Well, looks like Agent Lee has found the place he belongs and will probably be staying over there for the time being. Doesn't hurt that his new partner is the woman that he "loves", even if it's not the same Olivia from his side.

The Consultant

I'm really starting to like Alternate Olivia more than ever and that's just a testament to how great Anna Torv is as an actress. She is amazing and deserves more accolades for not just this role, but both roles. She's got some serious talent. Same goes for Jasika Nicole as Astrid. Seeing Alternate Broyles locked up at the end made me have a flashback to Oz.

Letters In Transit

Anyone else think that Letters of Transit could possibly be a backdoor Pilot for a spin-off given that Fringe may not make it to Season 5? It was really cool to see Henry Ian Cusick and he can definitely anchor a new series. Rebooting the series with a new (i.e. cheaper) cast can keep the mythology of the show going, so we would still get our Fringe Fix if you will.

I thought this was a pretty kick ass episode set entirely in the future as The Observers have literally taken over Earth and run a totalitarianism society. But first Agent Simon Foster (Henry Ian Cusick) and Agent Etta Bishop (Georgina Haig) have to rescue Walter, Astrid and Peter. One big potential reveal is that William Bell (Leonard Nimoy) did "something" to Olivia (Anna Torv) in the past and is the reason why she wasn't encased in amber, thus there was no rescue attempt for her.

I thought it was a pretty cool way to give Leonard Nimoy a cameo in this episode by having him stuck in amber. It literally made me go "whooooa" when the scene presented itself.

‘Fringe’ Renewed For Season 5 To Finish Series

I've done such a great job at being spoiler free. Just now read that the episode was in fact a potential Backdoor Pilot. Also, Fringe has been renewed for a Fifth Season. Yay!!
