Falling Ash

Aaron Stanford, Maggie Q & Shane West

Julie McNiven

Devon Sawa

Peter Outerbridge

Solid episode that brings along 2 characters that were kind of in the "background" and suddenly turns the show into another direction. The first twist is that Birkhoff who more or less wants nothing to do with Nikita and Michael or their fight against Division, suddenly is faced with a choice of letting an innocent girl played by Julie McNiven, who happens to be a sleeper assassin, take the fall for Division's doings or help her reclaim her life back. He goes with the later, thus turning Nikita and Michael's fight into his own. The second twist is that of Owen (Devon Sawa), who returns to help the gang track down Dr. Mars, the man behind P9 and also the one who can help him detox from the serum that he created.

But the best twist obviously comes at the end when we see that Owen is now working for Ari Tasarov (Peter Outerbridge)the leader of Gogol. Yikes. This sh*t is getting good. Downside, not a whole lot of Alex to be found here. Bah!!
