Doublecross

I wasn't expecting them to kill off Carla (Erica Gimpel) so soon given the fact that she has ties to Percy and a long-running fued with Amanda. I for sure thought she was going to be a major character and player on the series with so much back-story to mine for arcs. And I certainly didn't foresee Birkhoff as being the one to kill her....albeit accidently. Great twist at the end to reveal that Cassandra is turning out to be a major player herself. Too bad for Michael though. Now as far as Ryan Fletcher is concerned, Nikita has to be weary that he may have turned to the..."dark side", having been imprisoned by Amanda for so long. I'm sure they brainwashed him and/or planted a tracking device insisde of him.

Arising

I wasn't expecting Semak to get whacked so soon. I figured they would play it out a bit longer, eventually having Alex kill him, sending her into a tailspin of guilt. Well, all that went out the window when Ari pulled the trigger. The ending was kinda sad with Michael having to say goodbye to his son Max forever, who doesn't even know he is his father. Now, in the realm of stories, 'forever' usually means they will be reunited sooner than you think.

Power

Awesome episode that changes the playing field in a huge way. The mission to retrieve a gaget (Clean Energy) that would give Amanda and Ari ultimate power is at stake here. But Nikita has plans of her own to stop them. What I didn't see coming is that by the end of the episode both Amanda and Ari would be on the run for their lives since being cut loose by both Gogol and Division. Birkhoff unwittingly puts Percy back in charge of Division when he sent evidence to Sonya (Lyndie Greenwood) showing Amanda selling out here "asset" to Gogol.

Wrath

Very intense episode. If you think about it, it's just 45 minutes of torturing Nikita. What was interesting was seeing a more sadistic side to her as Brandt tries to extract information. Even more revealing were the things that she said to Michael. At first I thought it was just a ploy of some kind. Like code words buried within the message to tip Michael off. Turns out, she really does have some issues she needs to excised. As for Senator Madeline Pierce (Alberta Watson), I don't think she is dead at all. The explosion is a cover for her escape. I can feel it.

I don't think the son was that great an actor to hide his grief about his mother.  I think that she is actually dead, and Oversight is officially gone.  Sean will now be part of Nikita's team, and his ultimate goal will be in destroying Percy, because he released the monster that killed his mother.  It is my opinion that Senator Pierce is dead.

You are most likely right. But I will be in a wait and see mode. With shows like this, they have a knack for bringing people back from the dead....or making people think they are "dead".

True.  I could see Amanda saving the Senator by cutting a hole in the floor of the limo so that it looked like she died when she was actually taken in some sewer, but I'm not buying it.  I think they are finally closing the door on Oversight (and opening the one with the weird painting guy), and giving Sean a greater reason to join forces with Nikita.

It's time to bring on Operations (Eugene Robert Glazer)!!!!!!!!! I'm also all for Peta Wilson joining in some capacity with the show, but it's highly unlikely she ever will. She did have an episode on The Finder that was set up as a recurring role, which was a pretty cool idea too. If you've never seen the show or the episode you can check out Little Green Men.

Shadow Walker

Awesome episode for a lot of reasons. The biggest reason is that this one felt like an actual team working together for the first time. I don't know if it's me or not, but up till now, even though they have been together as a team for awhile, there has always been that little seed of doubt that Alex or Birkhoff or new member Sean has had an ulterioir motive for being on the team. But in this one, they truly looked like a team that had each others back.

Another reason this episode was kick ass what having Carlo Rota turning up as a Con Artist. For those that have never seen La Femme Nikita, he basically was the Big Cheese when all is revealed at the end of that series. I was so stoked to see that he was now on Nikita and my mind started racing at potential plot lines. Bah! It was short lived. Really short. They whacked him!!!

I liked the ending and the look on Percy's face at the realization that they had just blown up his money. I've never seen him on the verge of tears before. I really thought that he was going to break down and cry having just lost $80 Million. I would have.

Looks like Nikita is set up for a great season finale.  I think the show has progressed well, and it was renewed by the CW for another season, so we can actually look forward to seeing the finale's ending played out.

That is awesome news!! You just made my day!!!! I was really worried about Nikita not getting an extension. It definitely deserves it.
