Diplomatic Relations

Pretty good episode that has the Pan Am gang making it's first commercial flight into Moscow, which can only mean one thing: KGB. Sure enough, they arrest both Laura (Margot Robbie) and Bridget (Annabelle Wallis) as possible spies. It's up to Kate (Kelli Garner) to track down Anastasia (Sofia Sokolov) a double agent for the US Government, to use her connections to free her sister. Also interesting was the sudden turn of Amanda (Ashley Greene) putting the moves on Maggie (Christina Ricci). All this coming on the heels of her accepting a marriage proposal from Ted (Michael Mosley) I guess ABC wants some hot lesbian action to goose the ratings. One thing I found interesting at the end when Colette (Karine Vanasse) storms off from Dean (Mike Vogel) was the smirk on Bridget's face, like she planned it to happen like this. My guess is that she purposely planted Dean's pin in her suitcase in the hopes that Colette would find it, leading her to be suspicious about Dean.

New Frontiers

Walter Cronkite

Margot Robbie

Christina Ricci & Kelli Garner

A good episode that got bone-chilling at the end. Off in the distance, in the middle of a conversation between two characters, when you hear some of the people on the streets wailing, I absolutlely knew what was happeneding, even though I wasn''t even aware of the time frame. Other than a brief newspaper article on JFK earlier in the episode, I wasn't mindful of the day itself. So, when the wailing and crying started, the hair on my arms stood up. I wonder if they are going to pick up from the fall out of the assassination next episode.

That has to be the oldest kid ever. The episode was good, better than I thought it would be, but they still need to tighten it up. I think it would benefit the show if they dropped a couple of the actors on the show. It's too crowded as it is. When they utilize everyone, their arcs are too small. When they focus on a couple of characters, the rest get forgotten all together. They need to find that perfect balance.

1964

Of course. Wait till what is probably the Series Finale to FINALLY strike the right balance between all the stories and characters. And this one was by far the best and most entertaining. Unforntionately, if this is the end, they left the cliffhanger with just that. Will Ted marry Baby-Mama-Lesbian or go with the woman of his dreams; Laura? Will Colette find her missing Brother? Will Maggie become a full-time smuggler for Pan Am? Will Kate move on and try to become legit Agent for the C.I.A.? That's a lot of stuff left dangling. Ugh.

Yeah, I couldn't even stomach one episode of this show, it was that boring to me.  To me, it frees up the time slot for something more entertaining, imo.

I think the biggest problem the show had is that it didn't know what it wanted to be. There were too many characters and too many conflicting story lines pulling viewers in every direction.
