Okay, having just watched Season 8 for the first time since it originally aired on TV, my feelings for this season really haven't changed all that much. It's still the worst season there is. I thought that with time, things would have aged better or whatever you want to call it in regards to what happens here. There's no getting around it. The lost of Steve Carrell was just too much to get over and it shows here. Kind of a aimless, wandering type of plot with no sense of direction. With that said, watching James Spader again was....eye opening. What I hated the first time around became more problematic this time because now all I could see in his acting was a precursor to what would become Raymond Reddington from The Blacklist. Only difference is that he still has hair. Now his performance in The Office is not bad by any's just jarring because I still watch The Blacklist and that's all I could see here.
