The Whale

It was pretty cool to see Jan (Melora Hardin) return in the final season, picking up right where she left off....scaring everyone. I don't know if this is for the foreseeable future, but it's nice to think she may have more episodes in her. As for the rest of the episode, it wasn't that good or entertaining. I'm glad Andy is gone (for the time being), but the whole 'mustache' gag with the guys in the office was just okay for me. Dwight did make the most of his time here in is feeble attempt to bond and listen to women. But overall the episode was just meh. Also, Angela finally finds out that her man and Oscar are having an affair. Curious to see the fallout of this in the next episode.

The Target

For an episode that was and is pretty much a throw away, this could possible have the most off-the-wall Dwight moment when he and Angela ask Toby what "Red-Vining" means. He wants to know how two gay men can have sex and how one's  p e n i s  knows when to open up to accept the other  p e n i s . Hahahaha. I miss Michael Scott. This show is failing big time now.

Dwight Christmas

Overall, Dwight Christmas is a pretty  s h i t t y  episode. I found most of it just to be downright boring and unfunny. The only thing that I even laughed at was Darryl's rant toward Jim for forgetting about setting up a job interview at his new Sports Agency. I did like the ending with Toby and Nellie making out as her way to shutting him up. Always with the Scranton Strangler. Given this is the final Christmas episode we will ever get from The Office, I was expecting something much better. What we are left with is a cast (writers included) going through the motions to give us something that will only make us pine for the far more superior Christmas Episodes of years past. Do not believe the hype of other reviewers saying this is a great send off. It's pretty bad.

Lice

Who would have thought that the writers or whoever had a 5 Star episode left in them this season? This was insanely funny because it was and is soooooo out there. A lot of sight gags and everyone seemed to have a good scene that contributes to the overall fun to it. But major props goes to Meredith. She doesn't get to really shine most of the time, but in this one it was all her. Also, Dwight was Co-MVP here. Very funny. Now lets just hope we can finish out the season in a strong way. Nellie's 'lonely' story will definitely be remembered for years to come for those Office fans.

Looks like The Office has some life after all. Sure, this episode was over the top ridiculous, but I found it extremely funny. All 3 stories in fact were top notch in hitting the belly laughs. Not sure which one I liked the most. Was it Dwight and Clark posing as a Father/Son team to land a new paper client? Was it Darryl interviewing for Jim at the Sport Agency? Or was watching everyone back at the Office hitting mach speed from too much Espresso? And the winner is.......all 3 of them! Funny. Hope they can keep this going till the end of the season. I'd like to see them finish off strong as the series comes to a close.

Wow. Talk about taking a left turn at the very end of the episode. This was a pretty funny episode from Dwight trying to whoo Darryl into staying with Dunder Mifflin to Meredith's ever-changing weekly episode wig to the funniest thing all year: Toby's creepy obsession and delusional attraction to Nellie. Just when you are laughing your ass off in this, something happened that's never happened before on the show....a big argument between Jim and Pam. This caught me so off guard that it was pretty startling when it happened. I actually got a little misty because it hits the viewer like a ton of bricks when Pam breaks down and starts crying. And then the big moment is punctuated when we finally see the behind the scenes camera crew on tape for the first time, breaking that wall that has been in the dark the entire series. So, yeah.....pretty big moment for sure.

The idea of bringing back a lot of characters over the 9 seasons that have been associated to and with Dwight was a good concept...on paper. The execution of the scenes themselves...not so much. I kept waiting for some laugh out loud moments to arrive with some, if not all. It never happened. It was cool to see a few of them and was kind of surprised to see Dwight's old Karate Instructor played by Lance Krall. The entire episode was nothing but a set up to tip off the viewer that the Boom Guy is in fact in love with Pam. I don't like where this is going. Who in their right mind would end the series by breaking up Jim and Pam? Yeah, that's gonna sit well with a lot of people. Not.
