Let's Kill Bridget

That was a hella good episode. All the stories unfolding in this one carried weight and you can see that it's heading for a collision at the end. We got Bridget / Shiv who is still being targeted by an unknown assailant, which is revealed at the end. Nice. We have Henry being thrown under the bus by his father-in-law. Even nicer. We have Juliet and Andrew conspiring to swindle Catherine out of her money. Nicer still. And then we have Machado going ballistic on a perp. Very nice. All in all a fun hour and I hope the remaining episodes for this season can stay this high.

If You're Just An Evil  B i t c h  Then Get Over It

Great episode with a great twist at the end. Well, not a twist per se, but I didn't see Bridget getting drugged by the hands of Catherine who is now living at her house after trying to commit suicide. I have no idea how they are going to continue this on into Season 2 if they intend to wrap up the Main story. There's 2 episodes left and I'm anxiously awaiting the outcome.

Although I enjoyed this episode for what it was. This was ridiculously over the top with regards to Catherine's mental meltdown. But truth be told, it was really bad writing on the part of whoever wrote it. The episode was all filler more than anything else. To take a simple little botched frame job and extend it for an entire hour and in the process make Catherine look even dumber than I already knew her to be. Her character just became something else entirely. She went from a calculating sociopath to a love sick puppy that couldn't do anything on her own or without the blessing of.....Olivia. The writers may have always had it where these two were "partners in crime", but to me this just seemed like it came out of nowhere and was written in the 11th hour that they were working together. Whatever the case, I seriously hope the writers have something better planned for the Season Finale. Based on this one, I'm not confident.

Really not sure what to make of the dead maid / h o o k e r. Why they decided to kill her off when she played a vital role in what happens to Henry. My only guess is that the John that gave her the coke turns out to be a Judge or something that Siobhan will be able to blackmail in keeping Henry out of prison.

I'm The Good Twin

I didn't even realize this was the Season Finale at first. I thought there was one more episode left, but as the episode played on, it felt very much like the last one with all the reveals coming at the end. And then when Bodaway gets his head blown off, I knew it was in fact the last episode. But first things first, I thought the entire episode was awesome and the ride to the end was well worth it. I particularly liked how Bridget was forced to come clean about who she was because Andrew found out "she" was having an affair with Henry. It was all out there now. No other choice but to lay it out there and hope for the best and that Andrew and Violet could get past this.

Not.

I really liked how they tied Bodaway, Siobhan and Bridget into the last scene were everything comes to a head and it didn't feel forced or manufactured at all. It was a natural and believable setup and conclusion that they would all end up in the same room together. Now back to Bodaway. I loved his reaction when he discovered that Siobhan wasn't Bridget at all. I knew that when Bodaway got shot and dropped to the ground, that he would pop back up and attack Bridget one last time. What I didn't expect to see was how he got his head blown off. It was a nice way for him to go giving all the  s h i t  that he put Bridget through.

I really want to see this continue and they set up the perfect cliffhanger for this to happen. Having Henry confirm to Bridget that Siobhan is still alive and was actually plotting Bridget's death is a great jumping off point for Season 2. But having checked the ratings, it's not promising at all. The ratings are horrible. Not sure what the cancellation cutoff mark is for CW shows, but I'm not gonna hold my breath on this one coming back. I can only hope that it does. It would be  s h i t t y  if Ringer doesn't come back for another season. I really enjoyed this season. I would give...

I would agree with your summation.  I am still not sure how the plot can be continued.  The whole premise "Ringer" was that Brittany was the ringer for Siobhan, but now that that is over, where can the show go?  I think the show doesn't return.  And I am not that impressed with the shows the CW has lined up (LA Complex, Catalina, Ballet crap).  I think they pull the plug and find a way to recycle the actors for another show.  It really has been the M.O. of the CW to just give actors of cancelled shows the chance to star in new shows.  I hope this isn't the last we see of Sarah Michelle Gellar on TV.

Well, I figured that Season 2 would be all about Bridget hunting down Siobhan for that ultimate face off that we the viewer were deprived of in the Season 1 Finale. It was this anticipated clash that I was anxiously waiting for all season long. Is the premise of hunting her down strong enough to drive an entire season? Probably not. But I would think the other half of the equation would be Siobhan and Bridget both trying to win back Andrew and Violet, which I think could work as far as keep viewers wanting to tune in each week.

Well, on the upside for you Ganthc, I hear that Hart Of Dixie stands a good chance to be picked up.

Yes, I think Hart of Dixie and the Secret Circle will be series that continue on for next season.

Yeah, this one was not a surprise.  I can only imagine that the ratings were terrible.  I started to roll my eyes when the "Wild Things" storyline was used.  I liked Brittany/Siobhan's characters, and even the husbands and FBI guy, but the rest were pretty annoying.

Well, with the deck now clear, it's time for Gellar to revive Buffy.
