This was a really good episode now that a lot of mysterious elements to the show as starting to fall into place, most notably the "whereabouts" of Amelia. It was super cool to see Ian Gomez in something other than Cougar Town. In this one he plays a survivor of the recent Tsunami that devastated the the Asia coast. Also popping up in this episode was Maria Bello as the mother of Amelia, but I didn't even suspect that was her character till the end when they revealed it. As for Clea siding with the board to allow the "state" to take custody of Jake, I believe she is doing it so that she can be on the 'inside' to protect Jake from those mysterious people behind everything,
