Hatfields & McCoys: Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton

3 Day Mini Series Event, premieres tonight, followed up on Monday and concludes on Tuesday. This looks good. I'm down.

My bad. It's starts tomorrow and concludes on Wed. I was pretty sure it was tonight.

Hatfields & McCoys (Entire Mini-Series)

I just got finished watching the entire Mini-Series (via DVR) and I gotta say that this turned out much better than I thought it would. Usually a series like this on multiple nights doesn't hold up well because they are taking a small incident and then trying to stretch it out a few days, all in the effort of creating more money for it's Cable Channel. Well, this isn't one of them. I was completely sucked in and it never let up from start to finish. Going into the series, I knew some, if not all of the Hatfields & McCoys legend. So I definitely learned more coming out of watching the entire series. If there is one criticism I have and it really doesn't affect the overall feel or presentation of the series is that there are a few instances, especially in Part 2, where both Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton disappear for long stretches of time, long enough that when they pop back into frame it's quite jarring.

Anyway, great TV viewing and I will most likely pick this up on DVD.
