So, my guess is that Astor Corp is the one that killed Calvin's Mother and took Amelia away. It's the obvious choice and I'm pretty sure that it was Calvin's partner, the one from earlier in the season that let Martin take the files from the computer. He hasn't been seen since and that's why I think it's him. I say it's the obvious choice and it's not entirely exciting from a writing stand point to go there. So, that leads me to believe we have another entry into the equation. Who or what that is remains to be seen.

Obviously it's not the Serial Killer Priest. But he did arrive in L.A. at the end of the episode. Not sure what to make of his character. He was being groomed as the shows Villain. But in this episode, they have him save the hiker, talk him out of suicide and returned to his family unharmed. So, does this mean that the character will in fact be the one that "saves" Jake at the end of the day, only to reveal and far more sinister villain? The options of where the story can go seems to be unlimited.
