There is so much potential in what to do story-wise with the series. But I've heard the likelihood of the series coming back for a third season is pretty much out the window. So, with how they ended this episode with Jake and Amelia getting kidnapped by Astor Corp, I'm not confident that they are going to be able to tie up all the loose ends with just one episode left. And there is of course the story involving Avram as well, which too looks like its got a big hill to climb in resolving that.
