Pilot

I had really high hopes for Vegas. After watching the Pilot, I'm a bit underwhelmed by it. It's not that it was bad, it's just that it didn't give me what I was expecting from it. I wanted something more along the lines of  C a s i n o . Half the episode was basically a procedural show with Sheriff Ralph Lamb (Dennis Quaid) solving crimes and the other half was about the new guy in town to run his  C a s i n o . Only problem is that we don't really get a whole lot of Vincent Savino (Michael Chiklis)....yet. I'm sure that the series will eventually get into the meat and potato's of why people will be tuning into this. But the Pilot itself, even though it was shot exceptionally well, was only above average for me.
