As much as I like the Mod end of things with regards to the show, I fear, as I said in the previous episode review, Dennis Quaid is becoming a secondary character already. Even Carrie Ann Moss is pretty much non-existent now and she has 3rd billing on the show. If it continues to skew too far into Mob stuff, I wouldn't be shocked at all if Quaid opted out of the series at the end of the season. I'd hate it if that happened, but I wouldn't blame him one bit when the Star doesn't get much to work with here.

As for the episode, it was good. Once again, the Case wasn't all that compelling. But the attempted hit on Vincent Savino tells me something big is coming now that he is looking to take over the Tumbleweed  C a s i n o  and expand without the 'OK' from the bosses back home. Also interesting is the potential romance angle that they are setting up with Deputy Lamb and Mia. That's sure to raise a few eyebrows on both sides of the street.
