But you want your own house call, don't you? All you have to do it click here to register and maybe a creepy dude in plastic will show up at your doorstep... wait a second, on second thought....

Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's new FX horror bonanza "American Horror Story" premieres October 5 on FX.

This series finally got a profile page on Hulu. Now, it's bookmarked and I can start watching this probably 3 years after everyone else, given the status quo of FX and Hulu about airing new episodes.

Not funny.

Wow, just wow. This is either completely insane or refreshing like you’ve never seen on regular television. I’ll go with the later. I liked it. And I say that biting my tongue. While this is on FX, they are pushing the limits on primetime. I’m no prude… just taken back on what was allowed. There is a warning in the beginning and at each break about language, nudity and content.  The language was the most surprising, but the two ****ion scenes caught me off guard too. Again, it doesn’t bother me. I guess it shows how serious FX is on providing a raw emotional show.

No way would I even try to tell all that went on here. It’s complicated, it’s creepy, it’s uncomfortable, it’s sexy, it’s disturbing.

The look and feel was of the classic horror films of 70’s but with a nice contemporary perspective. Pacing is extremely fast. If you miss 5 minutes anywhere, you’ll be missing a lot. If they can keep up this kind of storytelling, this is going to be a great show.

The posters NOW makes sense.

Hulu as of right now will not be hosting this.

The earliest it would be up is 30 days after, but most likely would be 2-3 months if ever. So, looks like I will have to avoid this thread till then, or catch a rerun o TV. Bah!!

You don't have to avoid this thread. I doubt I'll be giving this any kind of review synopsis like Parenthood.

Well, this afternoon I went to check on my Hulu Queue to see what I would be watching today, and wouldn't you know it, they have American Horror Story. This was a shock given that FX does not allow their shows to be put up online until 2-3 months after original air dates. This is how it's been for both Sons of Anarchy and Justified the last two seasons. The only reason I can think they are putting this up now is because it's a new show and they need word of mouth where as SOA and Justified already have a built-in audience.

But I'll go a step further and say that FX will put up 2-3 more episodes and then cut it off from Hulu, forcing people to watch it on TV that are now hooked on the show. It won't work on me. Having said that, I will check out the Pilot tonight, once it's spooky scary dark.  ;D
