Ugh. First Cougar Town and now Bones. The series is not set to premiere till  November 3, 2011 as a mid-season replacement. And on top of that, the season has been cut in half down to just 13 episodes so as to accommodate it's spin-off The Finder. I'm looking forward to what The Finder has to offer, but not at the expense of losing episodes of Bones. Bah!

The Memories In The Shallow Grave



The case itself seemed almost secondary to what was really important; whether or not Bones and Booth would move in together and where they would live. Haha. Yes, I don't care about them solving cases anymore. It's all about them. But seriously, this was more fascinating then the case of the murdered amnesiac patient.

They are incorporating Emily Deschanel real-life pregnancy into the show, which is why they now have Bones and Booth together. Emily looks huge compared to before. Her face is so much fuller, it's like a different person all together. I'm just happy for the return of Bones. But it's gonna be a short season since the 2nd half time slot will be going to its spin-off show, The Finder.

The Hot Dog In The Competition



A new Forensic Expert joins the team. Finn seems interesting, with a "dark" past. I wonder if his joining the team is going to end the roving team of experts that have populated the series since Zack (Eric Millegan) went away after his character was arrested and sent to prison/mental ward. Off topic here, but I really thought that he would have returned by now to the show, given the fact that there is a pretty big story arc that they never completed with Zack confessing to Sweets that he did not murder the victim.

The Prince In The Plastic



As soon as I saw the name Morgan Fairchild in the open credits, I knew who the killer was. They need to disguise this better. Sucks that I can solve the case before the episode even starts. Bah! It seems that the further Emily Deschanel (Bones) gets along in her pregnancy, the less screen time we will be seeing of her. So, in this case, partnering with Booth (David Boreanaz) was Daisy (Carla Gallo). I'm all for giving her more screen time. She is ditsy, but very funny.

I thought it was funny her attachment to the Prince Charming Doll. The toe tag on the doll was a funny touch as well.

This was an okay episode. It really didn't have any compelling suspects with regards to who may or may not have murdered the victim. As always, whenever Billy Gibbons pops up as Angela's dad, he steals the show. This time he got more scenes compared to his other cameos. I thought the BG/Gramps Tattoo on the baby's arm was funny as hell.

This was one nasty looking episode, especially what befalls the reporter and his face and him hanging upside down on the flagpole. Looks like we have the makings of a multiple episode story arc as the Jeffersonian Team try's to crack the case of who the killer is, which we already know is the Computer Hacker on house arrest. It's finding out how he is doing it that is interesting.
