The Secrets in the Proposal

They need to get Carla Gallo back on the show more. She's insanely funny in her clueless ways of thinking she is part of the inner circle. Love it whenever she over-shares what is on her mind making everyone uneasy about what she is talking about. More! As for the episode, as it has been the case the past few seasons, the crime scenes are the least interesting things about the show. It's all about the interpersonal relationships and I was waiting for Bones to be able to crack the exterior of Booth and figure out that Pelant is behind the fact that Booth can't marry her. The final shot of the episode shows that Pelant is in fact still watching them through their kitchen appliances.

Cool seeing Freddie Prinze Jr. pop up on this one. I get the feeling that his character may be a recurring one and that Booth will call on him to help track down Pelant once and for all.

The Cheat In The Retreat

Decent episode. Best part of course was Booth and Bones heading to a Marriage Retreat undercover, using their alter-ego Tony and Roxie to great effect. A couple of hams for sure, enjoying playing 'Italian' stereotypes. It was funny for sure. The crime itself wasn't all that engaging. But I did like the the eventual killers turned out to be the old Happily married couple, who don't quite fit the profile of killers. Not sure what they are doing with Sweets as he is leaving on 'vacation' time. My guess is that he will spend this time hunting down Pelant on his own.

El Carnicero En El Coche

Even though it was obvious that the kid would turn out to be the killer, it was still a solid episode. As for Sweets, I'm hoping that it's just good writing that is making it appear that he is leaving for good. I don't want the character to leave and John Francis Daley brings a lot to the table as to why the show is as good as it is. So, that's why I'm hoping that the end was just a way to throw off the viewer by making it appear that he is done with the FBI, but in fact he is working to find Pelant.

The Sense in the Sacrifice

Kinda shocked that they resolved the Pelant arc so soon. I had it in my head that the entire season would be a cat and mouse game between both sides, culminating in the Season Finale. The other thing that took me by surprise was the revelation that Pelant was in love with Bones and that his endgame was to get her to love him instead of Booth. I knew that he admired Bone's mind, but I never suspected it was more than that.

The Lady On the List

It's very rare that we get to see the victim throughout an entire episode of Bones. Because we get that here, we are able to sympathize and take an even greater interest in solving the case. It's one thing to "have a face" from Angela, but it's another to see the actual victim talking throughout. Steven Eckholdt was great in the role. I haven't seen him in anything since his time on Friends. Anyway, I liked his 'Bucket List' involving Chuck "The Iceman' Liddell. Funny stuff. Great to see Dr. Wells return. Awesomely annoying intern, which in itself creates more humorous situations since he doesn't have any kind of filter and just rubs people the wrong way the moment he opens his mouth.

The Woman in White

I'm really not a fan of 'Wedding' Episodes because they seem to happen all the time on every show I watch and they are all pretty much the same. But every once in a while, someone gets it right and in the case of Bones, they nailed it. Loved how the opening shot with Brennan walking down the aisle to Cyndi Lauper singing 'At Last'. She was phenomenal. I also loved how the scene was shot and edited together. Great callback scene when Brennan addresses the episode where she and Hodgins were buried alive. Her 'letter to Booth' was awesome. Great inside joke about 'Angel' as well.

Also making this episode a memorable one was the return of pretty much everyone. Ryan O'Neal, Ralph Waite, Joanna Cassidy and the entire Intern Crew, marking on the second time the entire crew shared the same scene. Well, there was one missing. The clothes they all end up wearing to the wedding was funny......and perfect for the occasion. Nice casting choice in getting Emily's real life husband David Hornsby as the Priest.

The Nazi On the Honeymoon

Meh. Episode was okay. But I will give the writers props for switching it up at the end and having the Mortician as the killer of the Nazi and furthermore, making it so they were related to each other. I was certain that it was the young, hot wife that killed him. But beyond that, there really wasn't much else in the episode that added to the story.
