The new 6 ep. series of Channel Zero premiered last night. Without a doubt, the trailer caught my attention. Just like American Horror Story, they throw out some strange imagery to suck you in. It was unknown to me if Channel Zero was different and actually incorporated what was in the trailer.

My first reflections were, this has a nostalgia feel to it. Kinda Like Stranger Things, but less pronounced. It looks and feels creepy. Sudden jump scares were incorporated. I'm thinking yea, this could be fun. Let's figure out what the story is.

Well, they do lay out the story with flashbacks and such, but it's all very medicore stuff. I want to stay involved, but the energy level is way low. The creepy or dread factor is getting washed away. By the 30 minute mark, I'm getting a little bored. By the 45 minute mark, I lost most of my interest in the show. I read, there was a twist and I guess I missed it.

Anyway, I'll try again and see if this is a continuing story or something new in the anthology.
