Virgins

Incredibly funny episode that is basically all 'flashbacks' as each of the characters tell their stories of who has the worst 'losing their virginity" story. They were all hilarious. I really can't pick a winner of who's was worst. But I can say who's was the best and that would probably have to go to Nick and Winston. Funny, funny, funny. I need to re-watch this one again.

Winston's Birthday

Man, I wish Rob Reiner was on every single episode of New Girl. He is a great addition to the show and a great actor. Very funny. I guess we are just gonna have to be content with random cameos on his part. Loved the 'Eddie Murphy' gag at the hands of Winston. Funny. Pretty cool seeing Mary Lynn Rajskub here. I approve of her spot. I want to see more of her. CeCe's "beard"...also funny.

Elaine's Big Day

Yay! Rob Reiner returns for another episode! Sure, it was only a small cameo, but that's better than nothing. This was actually pretty funny in it's absurdity of everyone trying to stop the wedding. Adding a Badger to the mix was just the icing on the cake. So, who will Schmidt pick? My money is on CeCe. I'm sure they will start next season where they are a couple and then by the end of the episode, they will be splitsville.

So there was absolutely nothing on last night, despite we having a handful of DVD’s to watch. My wife wanted to watch her shows. So to show a little interest, I sat down with her to watch The New Girl and The Mindy Project.

I know it’s popular, only based on it’s been renewed and Chip likes it. The New Girl did nothing for me. Not even breaking a smile. I doubt watching it more will help, but I just did not find it humorous. Maybe I’m to a point where I am looking for LOL moments in my shows. The New Girl seems to be cute and mildly amusing.

The Mindy Project is another show I’ve never seen. I’ve seen her here and there in things, but nothing stood out. Again, another attempt at being mildly amusing. Even my wife checked out after 10 minutes. “You can watch what you want”

I got to check out Whose Line Is It Anyway and had fun.

Don't mean to crap on it. It just wasn't for me.

New Girl is fricken' hilarious! I watched all of season 1 of Mindy and although it had some funny moments, it really hasn't gotten beyond just being an average show for me right now. I checked out the sneak peak for Season 2 premiere episode and found it very lacking, even with guest star James Franco. As for New Girl, you gotta give it a few episodes for it to click because a lot of the humor is based on on their relationships and some of the stuff that has happened previously on earlier episodes. It did take me a couple of episodes myself to get it. Once I did, it has produce some gut busting laughs for me.
