....Debbie Gibson and Dee Snider. But enough about them. This one was all about Arsenio Hall and Aubrey O'Day. Best. Boardroom. Ever! Finally somebody had the balls (Arsenio) to call her out on her  s h i t.  She thinks she can bat her eyelashes to get what she wants. She is in for a rude awakening. She is self-centered and selfish and doesn't know the first thing about how to run a business. She got lucky in getting onto MTV's Making The Band and starting an All Girl Group. And then what? I can gaurantee you 95% of the population wouldn't know her if you stuck a picture of her mug in front of them.

So, I really don't get how she thinks she is "successful" in what she does. She goes on and on about ALL the ideas she brings to the group, but the numbers don't lie. Her Women's team keeps losing. So just because you bring an idea to the table doesn't make you successful. I'm glad Arsenio spoke up. But he may have gone overboard once he was back in the War Room and with her not around, calling her a skank is bound to have negative reaction from those that watch the show. Whether she is one or not is irrelevant. Calling her that is gonna raise some flags with Donald Trump and fans alike.

Having Aubrey walk off the show at the end was calculating on her part, most likely to generate sympathy for her. It just made for good TV.All in all, a great, entertaining 3 hour episode.

...Lou Ferrigno. This was a hard episode to watch, particularly in the boardroom. It was hard for two reasons...picking Lou or Lisa to be fired. I understand and relate to what Lou's going through with regards to his hearing and that he has to sit and soak it all up, especially when multiple people are talking at once. My issue with him is that for the entire season he has been about "me, me, me" He wants to star in everything they do. Period. This comes off like he is there more for himself than his charity and that he is there to promote himself more than anything else.

On the other side of the coin is Lisa. She brags about how much work she does. Last time I checked, she's been on the losing end of the majority of the tasks. So, hanging your hat on that is pretty dumb because you will be called out on it every time. Also, she is an ugly person, both inside and out. Fire her ass already.

...Paul Teutul. No shocking end here as it was a foregone conclusion right from the start that he would be gone should his team lose the challenge. And even that wasn't in doubt once you saw what the other team did. Clay Aiken was awesome during the Puppet show and I love the task that was presented to them: Improv Puppet Show. Clay and his team just put on a far more entertaining and energetic show. They were so good that I wanna give that a try myself and see what I could come up with.

...Penn.

I've watched every episode of every season and this was the first time that I personally couldn't pick a clear winner for the task and on top of that, I had no idea who would eventually get fired.

Personally, I think the Forte display (Dayana) was far more appealing than the "Rolls Royce" display (Aubrey) which looked awful. But I get why they won because of the take-aways.

When it came to who should be fired, in the end, Penn had to be accountable for the slogan that he came up with, which I didn't think was all that bad. Think about it in his terms. Do you want success that you have earned or do you want success that was handed to you? Now look at who did the firing. Donald Trump earned it, of course. But the knock against his kids has always been that they were handed the keys to the kingdom because of nepotism. I'm NOT saying they didn't earn it. They have kept their job titles because they are smart people and in the end did earn it. But the initial perception for those that don't know much about them is that they didn't and maybe that's why the slogan rubbed him the wrong way, even though he stated that it was executives that hated it.

There were definite pros and cons to both displays, but I think the team that won should have been asked back to the boardroom.

....Dayana. The writing was on the wall that it was her time to go. This episode really painted her in a bad light. In previous episodes, we the viewer would get snippets of some of her hair-brained ideas or whatever and the rest of what she did or said was usually embellished by someone else. I tended to take this with a grain of salt that maybe there were just exaggerating or trying to sandbag her to get her out of the competition. But in this episode, there was no getting around the fact that she was what everyone said she was. I think trying to tell Clay how to sing and direct him on stage just wasn't the brightest idea she could have done. I like Dayana a lot, but I can't support her in the way she tried to be Project Manager for this task. She was not suited for this one at all and that's what did her in at the end of the day,

I will give her credit and props for the way she handled herself in the boardroom. Very classy. She was very calm and business-like stating her case to the boardroom and Mr. Trump. Personally I would have gone on the offensive and come down hard on Lisa to try and save myself. But I don't think it would have mattered anyway. I'm pretty sure that Trump had already made up his mind who he was gonna fire long before the boardroom even took place.

I gotta go on record and say that I thought both teams did just okay. The jingle's weren't all that. But production-wise, I would say that Dayana's team should have won, in spite of it being a bit "safe". Arsenio's team looked and felt like a complete cluster f u c k .

PS, normally I do whatever I can to make sure that Lisa's ugly face is never to be found in any of the posts I put up. But in this case, I had to highlight how ugly she is on the inside by showing her true self (face) on the outside. Look at her....she is child by trying to demean Dayana feelings of being ostracized from the team. Lisa, you are the most vile and classless person I've ever seen.

...Teresa. No brainer. They didn't even have to go through the whole process of having a Task to know who Trump would fire. It's basic math. Just look at who is left in the game and then see who stacks up against who and it becomes painfully obvious that Teresa is on the bottom of the pile and would be the next to go. Also, watching her "lead" during the Task was pretty laughable. But watching her "defend" herself in the boardroom was embarassing. She couldn't put two words together without, as Arsenio pointed out, her hitching her wagon to Aubrey.

...Lisa. I knew her days were numbered. She had way too many meltdowns through the season and a lot of them happened in the boardroom. That isn't a "leader" as she said. You can't lead other people when you yourself can't even control your emotions. I think she should have been fire sooner in the season. If this was reality, she would have been. But her antics made for great TV and is the whole reason why she survived as long as she did.

One person is left to be fired and they chose to hang on this as it's cliffhanger going into the Season Finale. It's basic math. Arsenio will be fired, leaving us with a Aubrey Vs. Clay showdown, which is what I picked early in the season as happening.

...Aubrey. Shocked. Very shocked. I was certain it was going to be a Clay Vs. Aubrey showdown. I just didn't see Arsenio having all that much to give in the Finale, in spite of him winning 2 task during this season. This is gonna be interesting to watch unfold.

...Arsenio Hall. Poor Clay Aiken. I thought for sure he was going to win. I have nothing against Arsenio, but Clay raising twice as much money (over 300k) isn't something to take lightly. I do think that Trump picking Arsenio as the winner was politically motivated since it appears that he will be returning to the Late Night Talk Show circuit again and having him out in the public eye is going to do more good for Trump as far as future promotions of the brand name.

All in all a very entertaining Season Finale as well as a very entertaining season. I thought the duet between Arsenio and Clay was actually pretty good. Looking forward to the next one.
