Pu'olo

Will Yun Lee

Lauren German & Grace Park

Alex O'Loughlin & Terry O'Quinn

Awesome episode and very funny too. Will Yun Lee as Sang Min was hella funny, doing his version of Al Pacino from Scarface. So funny and so good. Nice to see them giving Kamekona (Taylor Wily) something good to do. Also very funny. Some great action sequences to top this one off.

I just realize that Masi Oka hasn't been on for awhile and come to think of it, it's been missing for what seems like the entire season so far. Where the hell is he? And speaking of MIA, it looks like Joe (Terry O'Quinn) will be off the show for awhile. Bah!!! What the hell!!!!

Mai Ka Wa Kahiko

The episode was good, but it felt light without Joe (Terry O'Quinn) MIA now that he is off doing God knows what. And no Kamekona (Taylor Wily) to be found either. He brings a lot of humor to his role. And speaking of MIA, Max Bergman (Masi Oka) is still missing from the show. So yeah, feels weird with everyone gone. Msybe that's why the focused the majority of the episode on Danny (Scott Cann) who is being targeted by his Ex Partner played by Peter Greene, that he sent away to prison. Kidnapping Grace isn't the way to get back at him, because your only gonna get shot in the knee.

So, Peter Greene really hasn't broken free from type castng huh? He played Rent-A-Cop Zed in Pulp Fiction and he plays the same here.

Well, that f ucking sucks. It looks like Lauren German who plays Lori is gone from the show with her handing in her resignation in this episode. She added a lot to the series and was a great addition. Max Bergman (Masi Oka) finally returns, but that's not much of a consolation prize with Lauren leaving. Damn it! There's too much cast rotation lately that it's becoming a big concern for me that something is happening behind the scenes with the show.

I fear this series may have run its course, especially now that they have gotten rid of two vital characters/actors that made it tick and work. This episode was...meh. Hey, at least they didn't have Apolo Ohno escape the feds on Rollerblade's. That's gotta count for something, right?

Really good episode with Dennis Miller making a cameo and James Cann guest-starring. Cann in particular was really good and funny. Watching the interrogation scene reminded me a lot of Las Vegas. The ending seemed to suggest or at least leave it open to him coming back for another round which would be a good thing.

Kalele

How  f u c k i n g  cool was this episode? It had a handful of big name stars in it, most notably was that of Ed Asner, who reprised his role from 35 years ago on the original Hawaii Five-0. He's back as world-class smuggler August March. That's gotta be some kind of record for a TV show to have the same actor portray the same character 35 years apart. Whatever it is, this episode was ALL Ed Asner!!  He OWNED it and was just as memorable as his guest stint on CSI: NY a couple of years back. I loved how the incorporated Ed's scenes from the original episode into this one.

Also in this episode was Tom Sizemore, Tony Todd ,Taryn Manning and Jason Scott Lee. The left it open for Ed's character to return given what happens in the last scene. I'm all for the return of August March. Bring it!!

The episode was...meh. Two things it had going against it's success for me. 1) No Alex O'Loughlin to be found here. I know that he had enterted rehab for addiction to Pain Meds and would be off the show for an episode. Without him anchoring the series, it just seems way off. 2) Masi Oka incredibly stilted performance. Why....must.....he act.....like.....this? His acting this season is very robotic. It's annoying. Why can't he just read his lines without all these pauses? Bah!! Good news is that Alex returns for the Season Finale along with Terry O'Quinn.

The episode was just okay for me. I wasn't expecting this to be a crossover either. So when LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell popped up it was a complete surprise to me. I've seen more LL at the San Diego Comic Con the last couple of years combined than I have an episode of NCIS: LA. Never seen one episode, so I know zero backstory of the characters and the current story line running through their show. This is a two parter, which concludes on NCIS: LA. I may or may not watch it. As for Hawaii Five-0, I think it's taken a huge hit with Alex O'Loughlin out on Rehab. The last couple of episodes have been underwhelming to say the least.
