I just got my chance to check out the first episode of the Junior Edition and I gotta say that I'm very impressed with these 8-12 year old's. The knowledge and technique makes me infinitely jealous. I have no idea who is going to win. Don't even have a front runner because they all a great job on their dishes that got them to the Top 12.

Masterchef returns. There's really nothing that sucks about the show. You get to see amazing dishes being created on the fly (creative editing), and stuff that I would definitely want to try out. The cooks range from all walks of life. But there are a few that I already can't stand, especially that one dude that is a stay at home dad or whatever he claims to be. He's living off his super rich wife's money and his arrogance and entitlement is very off putting. I want him off the show now. The episode is different from previous years. They use to do a warehouse challenge with like a hundred contestants that had to cook their way onto the show. This year they start with 30 inside the kitchen and start cutting left and right.
