This could actually go in the What the f*ck thread. Seriously, why are they digging this relic up? Heroes is at the top of my list of biggest fail...biggest disappointment for any TV series I have ever watched. It's amazing how 'hot' this series was and how good Season 1 was. Well, all the way up to the Season Finale and talk about dropping the ball. Biggest letdown ever was the "cliffhanger". How did a once promising show tank so fast? How was it possible that with each of the next 3 seasons, the series got worse?

I stuck with it out of not having anything else to watch and secretly hoping that they could rebound. It never happened and with each new episode, I was eventually hoping someone at NBC would just pull the plug on this. So, I'm really scratching my head why they would bring this back? A lot of people just don't like it and it really doesn't matter if they have a new cast. It's going to be Tim Kring at the helm and I'm pretty sure he is not going to have a clue on how to write and guide this any better this time around. With that said, I like Train Wrecks, so naturally I will tune in for the first episode and see what they have in store.

This is the sign of a desperate network.  I mean, what else are they gonna do, they dropped just about everything that they could.

I keep thinking I should watch the first season of Heroes again... or, as I call it, "Heroes."

I don't have a problem with the first 99.999999% of Season 1. But from the Season Finale and onward.....it's all down hill.

Totes agree... well, at least in my memory.  I don't think I've seen it since... 2008?  I had the DVDs but don't even have them anymore.  Thankfully it's on Netflix.

KRING REVEALS "HEROES REBORN" DETAILS

I'm still not on board with this. But I know that curiosity is going to get the better of me and I'll end up checking out the first episode.

Well that's it. People have very short memories. Except for a select few... ahem, here... maybe they go by lesson's learned.

I got nothing else.

Zachary Levi Starring in NBC's Heroes Revival - IGN News

Ugh! Damn you 'Casting Director!' Of course by signing up Levi and me being a huge fan of Chuck, I'm more inclned to check out the first episode. Beyond that, it all remains to be seen if Kring's problems have been fixed.

Episode 1 & 2
Brave New World / Odessa

You guys know my disdain for what became of Heroes the first time around and you know that I have been resisting the idea of even entertaining the idea of giving Tim Kring another chance given how far the series went off the rails. I went into this Rebooting with very low expectations. As for the actual 2 hour premiere, it was entertaining and kept my interest, a huge improvement over the 4th season before it was cancelled. Now even though I enjoyed the premiere, there are some flaws already creeping in and it was the same flaw that undid it the first time around: TOO MANY NEW CHARACTERS. Shoving all these new characters down our throats is going to test anyone's patience. I understand that Tim wants to set the table here, but come on dude, you have to do a better job of easing us into this new world instead of cramming it all in at once. The other thing that really had me scratching my head was the Asian Chick. So, her "superpower" is that she can transport herself into a video game? Huh? How is this a power that relates to real-world events in the Heroes Reborn reality? Very odd and needs some much needed clarification because this would be something that most people will not get on board with if we are kept in the dark. With that said, I will tune in next week to see what happens next. Zachary Levi's character seems interesting. Not sure what his endgame is going to be with him hunting down EVO's He will probably turn out to be a 'Sleeper EVO' with powers he doesn't know he possess' yet.

Episode 3
Under The Mask

Ugh. Here we go again. It's only the 2nd week of the series (3rd episode) and I'm already starting to see way too many similarities to the previous incarnation of the show. This episode was boring as f*ck. It's turning into a convoluted mess. I honestly don't know what Tim Kring's issue is and why he keeps getting all these chances. I will give this one more episode and if it fails me, which I highly expect, I will bail on Heroes once and for all.

Episode 4
Under the Mask

Meh. Slightly better than last weeks, but that isn't say much for the show. Seriously, this is just way too slow and by the end of the episode, pointless. If there is something better on next week when this airs, I will go with that.
