I've just watched the first 4 episodes and I gotta say it's likely to become my favorite new series. It's pretty astounding what the creative team behind this project have pulled it. It may be tied directly to the X-Men Universe, but this couldn't be further from a typical Superhero story. No Capes or anything like that. Overall it's a very ambitious endeavor in creating a series that more or less resides in the mind of the main character. I'm loving what I've seen so far, but I worry that those that need their TV spoon-fed them will tune out pretty quickly. This is not a series that you can casually watch. You HAVE to pay attention because of the fractured story-telling and the editing. You can get lost pretty quickly if you turn your head away even for a second. Also love the look and feel of the environment. At times I thought I was watching a Wes Anderson film. There is also the aspect of Horror Films as well. Anything regarding the "Angriest Boy" scenes or that Monster is presented in a way very similar to Horror-Derived editing and style. Definitely on board for the rest of the season. I give the first four Episodes 5 Stars.
