Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad

Going into this episode, my biggest concern was that the show would now be in Soap Opera Mach II mode. It was excessive last time around. I was worried for nothing. They dialed it back down somewhat and gave us a solid story where Scarlett comes to terms with the fall out of her onstage meltdown. They did however wrap it up a little quicker than I would have liked though. Given how severe her reaction was, I don't think it's staying true to "life" that anyone can recover that fast. But I get they have to keep the story moving forward. I did like that she finally stood up to her overbearing mother and sent her packing. I also liked that we finally got a Connie Britton / Dana Wheeler-Nicholson scene to full fill my need for a Friday Night Lights mini-reunion.

Interesting twist at the end having Juliette hooking up with her enemy in the form of Jeff Fordham. So, what is Gunner going to do with that information since he caught them in "after-the-act"? Is he gonna blackmail him for a huge payout? Or is he going to strong arm him into getting him to sign his girlfriend Zoey to a contract, thus ensuring that she stays in Nashville instead of running off to LA?
