Hopefully this is the last episode with both Jeanne Tripplehorn and Dermot Mulroney. No disrespect to either one as they are good actors. But I think the show should just focus on the core group right now. I remember having a similar negative reaction when Dermont played the love interest to Rachel on Friends too. The fight between Jess and Nick at the end was damn funny. It made no sense whatsoever, but it kept me laughing none the less. I guess the 'passionate' fight they exhibited toward each other is a precursor to them finally getting together.
