Night Court - Season One



Our library has always bought series. Just none I’ve been interested in.

I did see they started to get Night Court – Season One. I loved Night Court when it was on. All the characters were damn funny. I also knew Night Court changed some characters in following seasons. So I was not familiar with some of the original characters.

It was alright. I watched the first episode and with any show, that’s a struggle to get the audience introduced to everybody. So I skipped a few and got into the meat of the show. It was much better. Still not this hilarious memory I had in my head though.

I’ll try to check out future seasons when the library gets more.

Holy crap

The tallest cast on television.  There was one episode I saw on TV where they were trying to run through a hundred cases in one night, that was cute.  I think this is one of those shows where you just needed to be worn down by it in syndication, you know?  One season on DVD isn't the same.  And the first season of a show, that's usually before a series gets it's groove down, I don't know what was in or not in the first season (did Brent Spiner show up at all?)

True on both statements. It's absolutely can happen where a series needs to be worn. The Drew Carey Show was that way for me. I never watched it when it was in production. I slowly started to watch after it got into syndication and eventually, it hooked me.
