Happily Ever Aftermath

Pretty good spin on the classic story of Cinderella. But I think they kinda messed up by killing off the two monters that were able to do that thang they do. They could and should have left it open for possible story lines in future episodes.  Interesting to find out that there were 4 people responsible for Nick's parents demise, 3 of them we know of but the 4th still in the wind. My guess is that something goes down in 2 weeks for the Season Finale. But I think the biggest twist for the cliffhanger will be when Nick's girlfriend reveals herself to be something other than what we think her to be. I'm pretty sure she is some sort of watcher, which I alluded to back at the start of the season.

Big Feet

I've always enjoyed the myth that is Big Foot and was hopeful that a Grimm episode about the legend would produce something memorable. What we end up with is probably the worst episode this season. It was bad. The writing and the acting. Everything was off and just a really boring episode on top of it. I thought having Roger Bart in this one was kinda strange as I'm not use to seeing him roies like this. He's better suited for stuff like Desperate Housewives and Revenge.

Also, I didn't think it was possible, but the costume design for the Bigfoot in this one was so bad that it makes the one in The Six Million Dollar Man look like an Oscar winning Costume.

Woman In Black

Never in a million years did I ever expect to see Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio on Grimm, and it wasn't just some small walk-on cameo either. As the title character of the Woman In Black, she figures in prominently into the mythology of the series as Nick's ass-kicking mother, a Grimm herself. The throwdown at the end was awesome in how they "introduced" her as his mother, who everyone thought had been murdered.

Another great cliffhanger with regards to Juliette. Not sure what she has become after succumbing to the Poison-Cat. Is she a soulless witch now, much like Adalind Schade was? Who knows, but this is getting good.
