Well, the first of what is going to be an endless parade of 'made-up' Superheroes created specifically for the show because they can't use big names like Hulk, Iron Man, etc....This is made clear when all we get is a 'Captain America' name-drop shortly after the introduction of 'Scorch', which I found to be incredibly stupid. Can't use the name Human Torch. Let's go with Scorch. Ugh. The episode was average. And the big reveal about Skye infiltrating SHIELD comes down to her wanting to find about her missing parents was somewhat of a letdown. But then again, it had to be something soft like this so that she can still be considered the 'Good Guy' and remain with the team.
