An episode that ties directly into the events that took place in The Avengers, which was needed to sustain the series beyond the revolving door mentality of 'Monster of the week'. In this one, a Helmet  from one of the Chitauri Aliens, which contains a virus that is spreading, which eventually infects Simmons. Now it's a race against time to find a antiserum because the end result is basically imploding from within. The skydive scene was actually exciting to see play out, even if it was obvious where this was going. Very much a James Bond scene, but it worked.

The other subplot working its way through the episode was Coulson trying to come to terms with his "death" and the viewer learning that Melinda May experienced the same thing. But beyond that, everything is still a mystery. Really wasn't expecting any kind of resolution here as I'm sure they intend to drag it on a bit longer. Overall, good episode.
