Really glad that Scandal is back, but damn it, the 3 month hiatus crippled the momentum the show was on. They couldn't have pulled a worst time to go off the air then when they did. The episode wasn't bad, but I did have trouble at times maintaining my interest because as I said, the momentum was gone. Now we have to start up again. Hopefully we can ride out the rest of the season with no more breaks. Looks like they may be giving Mellie a big arc with what appears to be a former lover of hers stepping into the role of Vice President. I wonder how cheatin' Fritz will respond to this. My guess....not favorably.
