Barb returns to Stranger Things.


What timing, btw!  Family was over today for a birthday and my sister mentioned she never got around to watching Stranger Things, so we turned on the first two episodes (I'm going to count that as my movie-a-day so I don't break my surprisingly long streak).

Starts out as weird-o supermom, quickly delves into WTF territory.  What's funny about this, to me, is it reminded me why ages ago I wanted to write a role for Alba, because the person I saw in interviews was way more interesting than the person I saw in the movies.  And this REALLY makes me want to write something new for her, especially in this insane hyper-violent vein.


Kevin Smith on Stephen Colbert


The look on Stephen's face the whole time, I feel like he's signalling someone on the crew who thought Smith might be a bad idea.  Easiest interview ever, Colbert doesn't have to say a word.
