Life And Death

This episode was both very funny and very sad. I can only imagine the guilt the little brother has had to live with being the one that shot and killer is older brother, all in the hopes of fabricating some "street cred" so that he could blow up and sell massive records as an up and coming rapper. If there was stunt casting that was actually done right, they nailed it here by nabbing Curtis James Jackson, aka 50 Cent. He did a good job here. This episode also shed some light on Leo's (Michael Clarke Duncan) past and the women that he was smitten with at one time. Good thing he got out when he did. She's bad news.

The Last Meal

There was something very rewarding about watching Walter track down a chef, just by the simple fact of following his recipe around town. Fun episode with some good laughs, especially at the end with the dinner table scene with the Brunette Wife more or less putting the Mob guy in his place so that she and her Husband could enjoy their Last Meal together.

The Conversation

This was a fantastic episode that was actually more about Leo (Michael Clarke Duncan) as he tries to deal with the lost of his daughter and the birthday gift that he got her 4 years ago. The case was okay for me, but this was all Duncan. I want more episodes dealing with Leo's past, who is by far the most interesting thing on the show. Not to say the others don't have interesting back-stories, I just want more is all. Props for getting Kelly Carlson in for one episode as Gail McHottie. For those that don't know, she is best known as Kimber on Nip/Tuck.

The Inheritance

Awesome episode and a very funny one at that whenever James Madio as the "Short Man" was on screen. I couldn't stop laughing at the sight of him trying to kick Leo's (Michael Clarke Duncan) ass. So damn funny it hurt. Really cool to see Mageina Tovah in this one as well. I've always liked the characters that she has played and I think she is incredibly hot. Not the typical Hollywood, fake plastic Diva that seems to flood most shows. She's got character and natural beauty that to me is perfect. And she is a great actress as well. I would love to see her do more guest spots on The Finder.

Voodoo Undo

I'm not much of a fan when it comes to Voodoo story lines. It's pretty much the same thing every time with no variation whatsoever and it always turns out to be a family member that the voodoo doll, which is exactly what happens here. Just an okay episode for me.

The Boy With The Bucket

What a horrible way to end the series. I'm so  f u c k i n g   p i s s e d  right now and I blame FOX for cancelling a great show. I hold them responsible for not giving the creators of the show enough time to come up with a satisfying or at least plausible way to end the series. But to just leave it on a major cliffhanger like that is unforgivable. I put this right up there with the Las Vegas Series Finale fiasco. Ugh. I am  p i s s e d !

As for the episode itself, it was a solid episode (minus the ending) that introduced Walter's brother to the series, who also happens to be his brother in real life. Twins....or damn close to it. The reunion with their mother, played by Annette O'Toole was very touching and I though that's where it would end. But then they show us a dark side of Walter in the way he kills three Cult minions who are trying to take back his mother. It was like watching Jason Bourne. It was awesome. This just opened up a whole new side to him that could have been explored for seasons to come.

The scene with his father was heartbreaking. If you don't get choked up watching that, you are not human. Very sad. I liked the episode, the characters and the series. I just hope that another Network can step in and save it, much like TBS did with Cougar Town. If not, hopefully they can give us a wrap up episode on Bones, since it's a spin off from that series.

Eliza Gilkyson - Is It Like Today

Love the song to close out the episode. Even though the series ended on a downer, they at least went with a song that was upbeat.

With the passing of Michael Clarke Duncan, I don't see any kind of wrap up happening. It wouldn't feel right doing it without the big guy. I would actually be against the idea now if it were ever mentioned that they were in fact going to do a follow-up episode on Bones.
