Dead Reckoning  :-\

Last night’s episode of The Last Ship is very much on the verge of already jumping the shark. I mean c’mon with the Russian Commander. I almost bust out laughing with “I’m going to take over the WORLD”. This is a 007 villain doggy paddling in Austin Power’s territory. I had a hard enough time swallowing the idea of the Al-Qaeda not blinking and continuing a war while most of the world is dead.

Now a Russian war ship with an equally goofy Commander, who by the way, we will see again, in some future episode. Most of the stuff in between this Russian/American conflict was OK, but I’m telling ya, these studio’s seem to be directing for the lowest common denominator. There’s a fine line between entertaining and becoming ridiculous.
