With Ridley Scott's name attached to this, you know it's going to be better than your typical producing team. My only concern is that SYFY is footing the bill and their track record hasn't been impressive when it comes to production value. The only exception would be Battlestar Galatica.

I'm more concerned about the mindset at SyFy. They seem to think cheap, thus producing some pretty low quality stuff... Whether they have money or not.

Lets see how Defiance plays out

But, as you said, Ridley Scott only demands quality.

I'm just armchair calling it. From my point of view I see oil and water.
