Personally I think 16 is about a good number of episodes per season for TWD. Anything more than that would be overkill and runs the risk of quality taking a hit. I rather have a shorter (13-16 episodes) season of kick ass episode, instead a longer season with mediocre episode. I think everyone would agree on this.
