Well there had been other series that had proposed spin-offs that never materialize because the main show started to tank. Heroes anyone? After watching last weeks episode, I immediately thought of the former series and how it all went wrong. But to be fair to TWD, Heroes sucked from the moment the Season One Finale aired. TWD at least has been consistently good thus far.
