The Grove People are going to be talking about
The Grove for as long as the series continues and then some. I went through a few different emotions watching it. First I was like 'what the f*ck' with regards to both girls and their creepy demeanor. They were already f*cked up, one more than the other. Seeing
Lizzie going into meltdown mode about not killing
Walkers was just the tip of the iceberg and somewhat expected since she has been giving them names all along. It was great writing that there was a "moment" where she finally got it and chose to kill the Walkers that were invading their camp, where she had to fight to save her sister Mika's life. The writing just went to a whole new level of 'Wow' when we least expect it, with no foresight,
Lizzie kills
Mika. What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! As soon as I saw that, I knew the die was cast and that she would have to be put down.
With all the sh*t that went down, this was first and foremost Melissa McBride's episode. She owned it as Carol and she nailed the anguish and the guilt that she's been carrying for a long time. I knew 100% that with the added guilt of both
Mika and
Lizzie that she would finally tell
Tyreese the big secret that she's been keeping for so long. What I didn't know is whether or not
Carol would live beyond this episode. This is TWD. Nothing is set in stone and popular character's aren't safe. Well, she is....for now. Great scene between her and
Tyreese.
