I started watching Z Nation this weekend. Luckily I remembered, because SyFy is already ready to yank the first episode.

So I've gotten through 3 episodes. It is what it is... and it's taking it story clearly from the template of The Walking Dead. So that has definitely tempered my enthusiasm for the show. Hey, I'm watching the same show on another channel... only better. It's not bad, but I doubt I have time to watch similar shows. That's why I'm hesitant about the Walking Dead spinoff. It's going to have to be different. As we joked earlier, I'm not down with Walking Dead L.A., or Walking Dead Hawaii.

I'll continue with the show as time filler. I do see it as one of SyFy's better products. Let's just hope they put money into story telling.
