Gears 5 Full Stage Presentation - E3 2019

This was the segment I was waiting for the entire time. Some interesting new additions.

Little late to this one, because... well, I didn't think that anything at E3 would interest me.  Boy was I wrong:

Naturally, I JUST redid my TV setup and wired in my N64 when I see this news about the plug in HDMI adapter, so I'll have to do it again.  Very keen on that.  Combine that with an M Cable or M Enhancer (which I am TOTALLY getting, provided that it works as described), and I could get some great results.  I don't have a Gamecube that's compatible with that HDMI adapter, but if I did...

Actually, I have an HDMI switch, I just put the M on the output of that, that should take care of everything.

So therefore, I'm not in the market for that Hyperkin N64 thing, especially given that it's software emulation... but that new controller DOES intrigue me.   I may wind up getting one of those.  That's what has me excited, new peripherals.

The mini arcade cabinets are cool, too... not that I'm in the market for one of those either, but this whole technological trend of a  smaller, higher quality version of what we used to have... I like that.  The screens look sharp, there are more games on there... presumably they need less power.  I think that's cool.

I even like that portable NES dealie, too.  Again, I don't need one, but I love the idea of having a childhood item you can hold in yuour hand.  Seems like something a lot of people could modify.  And if it's only just a unit you can take with you to test games in the field, that's cool too.
