Yeah, I heard the artist was one of his favorites who was based out in San Francisco. So, he was a local hero of his and that's where he got the idea for doing the designs on his guitars.

my kid is now dying to paint a guitat pink ala Eddie Van Halen style...it's all she's been talking about the last 2 days...so I am going to look around for either trashed guitars with good wood for bodies I can gut...or unfinished bodies.
I think finding some nice strat bodies (and others) will actually be super easy....so many people have f*cked up guitars that are basically worthless as is...but if the wood was originally good on the body...I don't care what the rest of it is like

When you said 'red hair', I just assumed you were watching the concert with Stu Hamm. The Anaheim show, which I believe you said , that looks like it's Dave LaRue, who is more in the pocket of Steve Morse than Satch.
Nope, haven't found any quarters worth selling. Still looking though.......

yeah I am watching the Anaheim show....it does look like Stu to me although I only remember 1988 Stu Hamm mainly...so it's been a LONG time.
this band is great.
some of these songs I probably haven't heard in 21 years....it's crazy. I hardly remember the names of them....
I like this concert quite a bit/
was going to joke and say it's a bit of a sausage party in the audience....but guitar rock basically is a dude fest

I'm 100% serious when I say this, but I would love to see Chickenfoot tackle Flying In A Blue Dream. It's not a challenging song for the other players, but it would look pretty cool to see Chad Smith on Drums, Michael Anthony on bass and Sammy Hagar playing the acoustic rhythm part for the song.
