I really shouldn't like Tremors. It's the definition of a cheesy Grade Z Monster flick with unimpressive FX, even for when it came out, it wasn't anything to be impressed by. But here I am, still watching this all these years later. It's a fun romp with a bunch of great characters. Ya got Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward. They are aces here. Even the odd casting of Michael Gross and Reba McEntire as a pair of survivalist can't sink this movie. I think another reason why this film works for me is the humor that comes with it. It may be a "horror" flick because we are dealing with monsters and a cast that is stranded far away from any help. But amid all this carnage, they manage to give us levity when we need it which keeps things light.

I highly recommend this as a Buy. I still own my copy, and you should do the same.

Craptastic cheese and probably one of my most fav and watched flicks.

It just has the chemistry of all the odd folks. Especially Bacon and Ward. I on the other hand think the special effects are pretty good considering. They could of used lots more CGI, but went with practical and miniatures, which has an overall realistic environment feel.

Buy, buy, buy
